Guatemala

My Mandate

It was August of 2018. I was in a real estate business meeting and the guest speaker was talking about mortgage loans. After the meeting, I walked up to him, introduced myself and gave him my card. After a week, I received a call from Bob asking me to join him to go to Guatemala in the month of November for a mission trip. I said, “How do you know I am Christian? And I do not go to a place without praying about it. I take my orders from the Lord.” He said, Ok.

I prayed about it and waited until I received my order to go.

In my spirit, I heard “read these verses”:

Revelation 21:5
“And He who was seated on the throne said,
“Behold, I am making all things new.”
Also, He said, “Write this down, for these words are trustworthy and true.”

Isaiah 43:19
Behold, I am doing a new thing;
now it springs forth, do you not perceive it?
I will make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert.

I kept on hearing the above Scriptures saying “I am making all things new.”

This was kind of strange to me about new things. I am going to Guatemala where I thought everything has already been established.

I also heard in my spirit the number 136

Then I heard these words in my spirit:

“I am sending you to Guatemala as My messenger to re-establish My Government (Kingdom of God) in Guatemala and surrounding countries. I am with you and will never fail you. I want you to empower believers to become more than many of their churches have defined them in the past and reveal to them that I want to bring about My Kingdom dimensions in their lives, their culture and businesses, who they are and what their mandates on earth are as well as in heaven. The enemy has put blocks and boundaries around them through the way they have been trained to think and the way they believe causing among them disunity, disharmony and divisions. They have lost their spiritual fatherhood and are vulnerable to the schemes of the devil. Religion has caused more problems: they fight over doctrinal differences, theological differences, spiritual gifts, etc. But I have heard their cries and now I am sending you as My messenger to establish My Kingdom on earth as it is in heaven. Those who will join you will be bringing Kingdom renewal and refreshing to their families, communities and governments. I love Guatemala and I have put Guatemala in your heart. Arise and build and advance My Kingdom.”

God is restoring and renewing His relationships with us. Relationships will be purified by the mandate of the Kingdom of God. By His sovereignty, Kingdom laws, Kingdom precepts, Kingdom ordinances will purify our relationships.

My Arrival

On November 9, 2018, God sent me to Guatemala. I met with Pastor Cesar Solorzano, pastor of “Iluminado Naciones.” I did not share my God-given assignment with Pastor Cesar. A week later, on November 19, 2018, Pastor Cesar told me the story of Rev. John Hill and said to me that he didn’t know why he was sharing that event, but that he felt there was something new God was doing–that God sent me to Guatemala for a purpose.

In 1882, the President of Guatemala was Mr. Justo Rufino Barrios. He invited Rev. John Clark Hill to come to Guatemala and bring the Gospel of the Kingdom of God. Rev. Hill arrived on November 2, 1882 and began preaching. With the planting of a Presbyterian Church there, a new season had begun.

I then realized that from November 1882 to November 2018 is 136 years! That is 136 years of Christianity in Guatemala. It is very interesting that according to Hebrew numerology, 136 means an era or season of “New beginning.” It is a place where creativity, growth and expansions exploring new level bringing balance and harmony in the lives of those who hear the call.

My Challenge to You

God has a hope and future planned for you. It will come as you commit unconditionally to God by saying, “Behold, the bondservant of the Lord, may it be according to your Word.”

What God has prepared for you is beyond anything you can think or imagine! But it is not just about you–it’s about the world–the people and nations that Jesus redeemed.

Engaging the world is our priority. God assigned us to reintroduce the Kingdom to the World. Jesus has set the stage. He laid the groundwork. He proclaimed a straightforward message: “Repent, for the Kingdom heaven is near.”

God has assigned us to…

  • Repossess the earth with the Kingdom.
  • Engage the world system. Engagement means involvement. Our assignment is to infect the popular culture with values, morals and standards of the Kingdom. One way to do this is by working diligently with the lawmakers to uphold the standard high. The reason is simple: whoever control the laws controls the culture. That is why the first thing God did after delivering Israelites from Egyptian slavery was to give them a code of law. In order to make them into a nation, He needed to reshape their slave culture and mindset into the culture and mindset of people of God. Our purpose in engaging the world system is the same.
  • Influence the world, not to be conformed to it. It is impossible to change a culture by accommodating it.
  • Occupy the Earth, not abandon it.
  • Promote the government of Heaven on earth. We are not here to promote either a religion or ourselves anymore than Jesus did. This means that we need to keep on proclaiming it, declaring it, and living it wherever we go. We must bring the Kingdom into every arena and facet of life.

Allow me to challenge you to envision a company of men and women, young and old, who will cheerfully welcome you, full of gratitude because the works you added to the faith God entrusted you with helped bring them into God’s Kingdom.

Dream with me about Guatemala: picture the beautiful flag waving in the wind of the Holy Spirit carried by the president and government leaders bowing before God Almighty. Now discover your role, no matter how small, in bringing it about through your obedience to His call to re-establish His Kingdom on earth as it is in heaven.

In every journey-no matter how log-the most important step is the first one because it represents a commitment to its final destination.

Let’s take a bold step into this journey by becoming an inspiring voice for the future rather than just an echo of the past.

As you envision that threshold one more time, let the Holy Spirit baptize you afresh and anew with power, authority and with fire. And then, lift up your eyes, your heart and your arms to God, and let the two most powerful words in His Kingdom spring from your lips: “Yes Lord!”

Go for it! You will never be the same. And better yet, our beloved country Guatemala, beginning with your sphere of influence, will never be the same. There are multitudes and nations waiting to be discipled.
